2014

Salt Lake City - Utah - USA

We are honored to invite you to the 10th International Conference on Voice Physiology and Biomechanics in Salt Lake City, Utah - United States

The conference will be held in Salt Lake City and it is hosted by the National Center for Voice and Speech. It will provide a forum for the presentation and discussion of current scientific research on the larynx and voice. The emphasis of this conference will be on basic and applied research, rather than clinical treatment studies.

We encourage investigators working in the following areas/themes to attend the conference:

  • Acoustics
  • Aerodynamics
  • Anatomy

In this conference, we especially encourage studies related to the "Voice Source Analysis" as indicated by the subtitle of the conference to promote a wide spectrum research on phonation-related transglottal airflow and vocal fold vibration.

IMPORTANT DATES

CALL FOR CONTRIBUTIONS "Conference & Singing",TBD, 2014
It has been a tradition at the ICVPB meetings to have scientists do some singing. Many scientists are attracted to voice because of their own interest in vocal music. We invite you to our evening to show, with your contribution, the other half of yourself. All kinds of music are welcome. A pianist for your presentation is available. Please get in contact with the conference coordinator to register.
