B. Basic Concepts
1. Describe, illustrate or draw how pressure is transmitted among abdominal, thoracic, and alveolar regions. Identify and describe: visceral pleura, parietial pleura, and pleural space.
2. What is the average ranges of lung pressures used for speech and singing (give units of measurement). Name an instrument that is used in measuring lung pressure.
3. Be able to describe and possibly draw the information displayed in figures 3.10 and 3.11.
