Articles Resulting from NCVS-Sponsored Research The National Center for Voice and Speech produced 14 volumes of the NCVS Status and Progress Report. This series of reports contain articles resulting from NCVS-supported investigations. Several book chapters and monographs - tutorial in nature, but highly relevant to research topics - also were included. The research articles were reviewed by peers and published in professional journals, often a year or two following their appearances in the status and progress reports.

A master list of the articles that appeared in the status and progress reports appears below. They are organized chronologically - one table for each volume. Tables contain the titles, authors, bibliographic information, and abstracts. You are encouraged to use the publication information to seek out the full articles.

[Note: Articles appearing in the Status and Progress Report were published at the pre-print stage, or in other words, at the same time the articles were submitted to professional journals for peer review. Reviewers' suggestions may have resulted in the journal versions to differ from those in the status and progress reports. Many of these changes are minor in scope, but in some cases, abstracts or the titles were modified.]
