Doug Montequin, Voice Pathologist and Research Associate

Dr. Montequin recently joined the the National Center for Voice and Speech (NCVS) as a voice pathologist and research associate. He is originally from the Washington, D.C. area but has migrated west over his career. He has extensive background and training as an actor and vocal coach. He furthered his interest in voice and vocal care by completing a M.A. and Ph.D. in clinical voice and voice science. He has worked at two highly-ranked ENT clinics and joined the NCVS because of his interest in working with performers. He currently diagnoses and treats clients with voice problems at a site inside the Denver Center for the Performing Arts and in his spare time works with the Denver Center Theatre Company as a voice and dialect coach.
