Michael Karnell

MICHAEL KARNELL is a professor of speech pathology at The University of Iowa where he has admired Ingo since he was a young doctoral student. He’s always enjoyed learning about sound and playing music. Mike particularly enjoys mixing tracks with “Garage Band” software on his laptop, as he did for the songs Sloop John B., Suspicious Minds, Call It a Podule, and The Man You Love. The bass guitar tracks on these songs also were played by Mike and he played all the instruments on Sloop John B., although the drum tracks are mostly Garage Band loops. Mike Karnell produced and recorded tracks 13, 14, 15, and 16.
