In many ways, this section of the NCVS website represents both future endeavors and past work.
Use the links at left to access webpages from previous meetings and conferences; a database of citations often used in our research articles; and a set of downloadable outreach materials that are no longer in print, but are available as pdf files.
At the same time, NCVS investigators have an eye toward the future and strive to develop a voice museum to allow visitors to interactively explore the fascinating human voice.
Progress toward establishing a Voice Museum
The Milton and Irene Pritts Fund: Irene Pritts, mother of the late Roy Pritts (NCVS board member and the NCVS Museum curator), passed away in 2004. Mrs. Pritts and her husband Milton were long-time collectors of vintage recording equipment, and their collection now resides at the NCVS. A memorial fund was set up in her name to benefit the further development and display of items housed in the NCVS' Marvin and Judi Wolf Museum of Voice.
Our beloved friend Roy Pritts, passed away unexpectedly in June 2007. Roy was known all over the world, primarily as President of the Audio Engineering Society, but he was also a musician (piano and trombone), composer, author, administrator, and educator. He established the Music Technology / Recording Arts program at the University of Colorado in 1971. Of great significance to us, he procured most of the initial exhibits for the NCVS Museum of Voice. Please help us finish what he started.

The Marvin and Judi Wolf Museum of Voice: Contributions from the generosity of Marvin and Judi Wolf have provided a jumpstart to the development of an interactive and educational museum featuring the the human voice. A virtual tour of some of the museum exhibits is available.
